Many thanks to outgoing president Steven Luk for his organisation, and to Charles Bark and sponsors HiNouNou Intelligent Robot and Aden catering and their fantastic michelin-starred French chef Jérome Laurent for sponsoring the AGM on February 28, 2018.
Many thanks also to those candidates who were not elected this time, there were a number of strong presentations and we hope you continue to participate and that the new committee will support your proposed events.
During the AGM the elections for President and Vice-president were held and the initial committee was announced as:
President: Samuel Fan – Oxford
Vice-President: Yi Wu – Cambridge
Treasurer: Pavel Ananienko – Cambridge
Secretary: Jonathan Moore – Oxford (seeking to retire)
Committee Members:
Wenming Dai – Oxford
Maggie Mao – Oxford
Yinyan Huang – Oxford
Charles Bark – Oxford
Eugenio Lopez – Cambridge
There is a slight imbalance towards Oxford so it is hoped that more Cambridge people come forward, and that the committee will meet shortly to review their organisation and hopefully elect a replacement for the Secretary who is seeking to retire from duty…

The AGM and election is now set on February 28th starting at 7:00pm. Each of the candidate will speak to all the attendees their vision for the society going forward and how they plan to implement it. The details are as follows:

9:00pm – 9:15pm: Closing remarks (Outgoing and New President)
