I arrived in China a couple of years ago after working in London and Madrid 20 years in Financial Market technology.
I speak English, Spanish and occasionally French but I am mainly working on improving my Chinese.
Originally I studied Classics and English at Oriel College Oxford (ie literature in Latin and Ancient Greek and its influence on the development of English literature). I must have been the last generation before the arrival of mobile phones and internet and so my lasting memory of Oxford is running (or cycling) around everywhere to meet people and publicise events.
